Sacred Music: Best Músic? Música Sacra: Música da Música?

 A first and brief philosophical analysis , we realize easily that there's not a vanity , a face , a presence - leather pants or shirts , tight skirts , photographs , hats , paintings , lights , tattoos , blazers and white shirts . Because here since it is not the mere subjectivity , the lower sentimentality , the irrationality that much is claimed for music ( especially in and after sec . XIX) . There is something here that has universal reason at its bottom , a rationality that is not math , it is not provable but it's there as a universal cosmos that nobody stops playing because we make it part .Nothing moves me against pop or rock or even classical music , there are many examples of great emotional records and high sensory and virtuosity relief , but I have to admit that it is associated , of course, a certain trivialization and cultivation of feelings that do not will be higher , as excessive individual enhancement , vanity, surface immediacy or technical precision, individualism , and this certainly makes me think .In this regard , the insights of Benedict XVI - in my opinion the most lucid and bright intellectual of our times - are enlightening : " The beauty of music is based on his correspondence with the rhythmic and harmonic laws of the universe " , " A ' creativity ' purely subjective can never have a comparable breadth of the cosmos and its message of beauty. "There , in this video - which I consider exemplary - moments of such profound beauty that I can not describe rationally , but that appeal certainly a criterion for the logos , for a clear message of freedom and detachment - the real reason being - and that we have to feel too small before the invisible a whole that embraces us and haunting image .

Numa primeira e sucinta análise filosófica , facilmente nos apercebemos que aqui não há uma vaidade, um rosto, uma presença - calças em cabedal ou gravatas, saias justas, fotografias, chapéus, pinturas, luzes, tatuagens, blazers ou camisas brancas. Porque aqui já não se trata da mera subjectividade, o sentimentalismo inferior, a irracionalidade que muito se reclama para a música (em especial no e depois do sec. XIX). Há aqui qualquer coisa que tem a razão universal no seu fundo; uma racionalidade que não é matemática; não é demonstrável mas que está lá como um cosmos universal que a ninguém deixa de tocar porquanto que dele fazemos parte.

Nada me move contra a música  pop ou rock ou mesmo clássica; são inúmeros os exemplos de grandes registros emotivos e de alto relevo sensorial e virtuosismo; mas tenho de admitir que a ela está associada, certamente, uma certa banalização e o cultivo de sentimentos que não serão os mais elevados, como a excessiva valorização individual, a vaidade, o imediatismo superficial ou a precisão técnica; o individualismo; e isto certamente que me faz pensar.

A este propósito, as intuições de Bento XVI - em meu entender o intelectual mais lúcido e luminoso dos nossos dias - são esclarecedoras: "A beleza da música funda-se na sua correspondência com as leis rítmicas e harmónicas do Universo"; "A 'criatividade' puramente subjectiva nunca pode ter uma amplitude comparável à do cosmos e da sua mensagem de beleza".

Há, neste vídeo - que considero exemplar - momentos de uma beleza tão profunda que não consigo descrever racionalmente, mas que apelam, seguramente, para  um critério do logos, para uma mensagem clara de liberdade e desprendimento - a verdadeira razão de sermos - e em que temos de nos sentir demasiado pequenos perante a imagem invisível de um todo que nos abarca e assombra.
